Ward 10 Roadwork Projects
Playground Improvement Projects Across Ward 10
Installation of new playground equipment in these parks will start in Spring/Summer 2027:
| Balsamo Park | Field of Dreams Park |
| Partington Park | Southdale Park |
| Udine Park |
South Cameron Woodlot Improvements
A multi-phase improvement to South Cameron Woodlot began with a new accessible playground featuring new play structures, protective fencing for the nearby wetland ecosystem, benches and bike racks, and refreshed sports courts (see more below).
This will be followed by phased construction of a multi-use trail system with an environmentally sensitive boardwalk, asphalt, and limestone pathway network designed to connect local neighborhoods while managing local species at risk protections.
Investment in Remington Booster Park
In 2024, we secured a $245,000 investment for Remington Booster Park with six new pickleball courts, upgrades to two tennis courts, and improvements to one basketball court.
This investment builds on more than $1 million in funding to the park over the past decade, including trail improvements, playground replacement, a gazebo, and solar lighting.
I was also pleased to support the development of a new Community Garden, which will be managed by a group of avid Remington Park gardeners.
